Hello…Tom…I just talked to your Dad…I have given lots of blood through the years and he was making a blind phone call to me to get me to give blood again…I am in Montana, mind you, and you need to know that what I told him was this:
I have just recently moved and have been wanting to find a place to give blood…I have type O-(universal donor) and it just happens to be “Baby’s Blood” because it is missing a certain antibody that is usually not absent in people’s blood…it is precious…and so I told your father that yes, I have baby’s blood and would love to donate…my name is Lucie, by the way, and then he told me your story….some people call it serendipity, I call it Providence….at any rate, I’m glad to meet you and to see that your sweet little baby is doing well…say hello to your Lucy for me!!! Have a happy journey!

Good Morning to the cast of Lifeofdad,
I am a new subscriber to your website and have been entertaining myself with your little episodes at work (shh don’t tell anyone). As a mother, I love to see parents celebrating the love they have for their children and family. You are an excellent example of a good father.
This could be helpful in changing the way young men view parenthood and possibly decrease the rate of single parent homes that have been devastasting our youths for decades.
I am a teacher and see so many children suffering because of the lack of a father. Fatherhood should be viewed as fun work and a gift- not a burden. I appreciate what you’re doing and will continue showing your blips to my students. I believe it encourages strength in parenting. Good luck.
PS- When is your wife going to make her debut?

Also, I am the Membership Director of the Hypoplastic Right Hearts Organization. We are a board primarily of parents who’s children have CHD’s but there are several adults on the board.
